I write long poems,
They are good,
Ppl give them low grades,
Because they r big,
And they dun feel like reading them,
While short stupid poems,
Wit bad spelling,
And bad grammar,
Gets a lot of stars,
So I will humor gaia,
And write this poem,
As I rip out my hair,
Because its so stupid]

i agree with you though. im mad at stupid people who give crappy short poems 5 stars cuz they wouldnt take the time to give the ones that actually deserve 5 stars 5 stars.

i sorta see it as a comedy.

Yeah Lucas, there would be more to critic on a longer poem, but criticing is not the case here on gaia, people see something long and they are like "OH NOES!" Give it a low grade, then go on, and read something like this and give it high grades. I say if youre going to do that, dont come into the poetry section at all.

yes some people do this, but when a poem is long enough there is much more to critic it on, and some people go low because epic isn't their style.. it isn't fair and yes they should just grin and bare it or skip over it, but it happens.... mine are medium length, definitely not epic though......

I completely agree. I am actually working on a sort of "epic poem" at the moment, and fear posting it in Gaia for this very reason. I am giving you five stars, though.... "because, even though it is weak, utilizes poor grammar, and is not that good, you still tried and put your heart and soul into it!"
