-
Fly, Cupid's arrow, strike the heart -
Infect with the poison of my veins;
No more, Indifference, keep us apart
Nor fill a soul with lover's pains.
I scream with you, oh midday Sun,
and burn with passion in my flame
Though by the cloud dark work is done:
Shade from love's warmth as if a game.
Your essence, my Love, is a garden fair-
So full of life, yet ever still.
One never sees a movement there
but beauty grows and ever will.
tab Yet someday I will make you see
tab for I've faith in You and Love and me.
