• Wishing seems pointless,
    when dreams become real,
    When time seems to stop,
and the world seems to keel
    Right off kilter, and the
    whole planets stopped,
    And half-way through you
    realized you’ve topped
    The wildest regions of
    your imagination’s plane,
    And the furthers reaches
    of your minds game,
    And suddenly you think
    to yourself with a sigh,
    To think this could
    have passed me by…
    When all the dreams in
    the world come true
    Could it really be that
    good for me or you?
    When you realize people
    have some pretty sick dreams,
    And then you hear in
    the distance, screams,
    Do you wonder who’s sick
    and twisted mind conjured it?
Or do you just run, and hope
    your own dreams don’t quit?
    And hope your nightmares
    never break in,
    Because when you dream of
darkness, or you dream of sin,
    You can’t help but notice
    that you’re twisted too,
    And then you’ll have to
    wonder what you can do
    In order to keep yourself
    safe and sound,
    In order to prevent yourself
    from meeting the Hell Hound
    And pointlessly wishing
    you think to yourself
    When will this end?
    enough is enough!
    But wishing is pointless
    when dreams become real,
    And in the end,
    it’s a pretty bad deal.
