• This is dedicated to the most important person in my life:

    When you were here...
    Oh I remember you clear
    you held me in your arms so near so near...
    You taught me the importance of life and how to live it
    you reassured me when I was scared to have no fear

    I visited you once every week in that
    cold cold jail house
    yet you were always there with that smiling happy face
    such a happy smile
    never failed to lift my spirits

    But one terrible, fateful day came
    to find my dear mother in tears then something completed my fears
    You told my mother you were soon going to pass but she thought you
    was just playing
    And now I right this poem saying:

    Your life was taken oh so coldly
    Yet you stood so boldly
    You fought with all your might
    but it wasn't enough
    and now I have to stand crying over your body

    When you were here things were always peaceful
    What he did to you was so wrong and deceitful
    I will always cherish those happy memories
    those happy times
    I know your in a better place filled with trumpet chimes,

    and angels and beauty
    but I will never forget you for
    I love you dearly

    When you were here my heart would sing
    and now a churchbell ring

    ring ding ring ding

    Goodbye I will miss you so
    and our love for you will continue to grow
    So...
    farewell dad and I will always love you.
