Swish Swish,
a black tail coated with dust,
amber eyes,
looking from the shadows,
a frightened creature,
ensnared by the gaze,
watching its angel of death,
a silent pounce and a small crack,
and it was no more.

Actually I kind of enjoyed this poem. I normally don't like the writing I see in the arenas, but this one was pretty clever. Good job, 3/5.
