A body on the frozen ground, resting lifelessly against a cherry tree
The body, shot through the heart; killing the host instantly without a mess
The struggle began twelve days before the anniversary birth of twenty-three years
The host, a young man, drugged with depression, uncertainty, confusion, decadence
Dying was always a yearning; hitherto a mere memory, the last memory recorded:
The young man, running for dear life, scared beyond known trepidation
Running to find a safe haven, from an unforeseen creature that dwells upon blood
Trying his best to evade, nonetheless, the creature matching stride with stride
As the young man tries to faster, he loses his footing and falls to the frozen ground
He tries to scurry backwards and finds himself against a cherry tree
He tries to plea for his life; nonetheless, the creature strikes the young man’s heart
The young man cries as he feels the unbearable pain enter through his chest
His breathing, suffocating him faster; his eyes feeling heavier as he struggles
In his last attempt, ending in failure, he curses: Death a beginning, revenge an end.
With the last words spoken, the young man finally rests against the cherry tree
His eyes flutter close for the last time; his body relinquishes for the final time
No more pain, no more suffering; the ecstasy of killing the young man, a favor
Never again will his soul be tormented by the nightmares that once taunted his mind
He can finally rest in the realm of his dreams, the realm of the Deceiver of Fools…
The realm of Hades, open their Gates, welcoming his disillusioned-tormented soul
As his soul rests with Hades, the Lord himself, smiles, as he feels the suffering
And with a remark: Your soul, young man, will stay in my depths of my heart.
A cry awakens the young man from his reverie as he grips his chest to feel
His breathing, heavy; checking over his heart, still exerting blood throughout his body
Sweating profusely, as the young man wipes away the nightmare from his dream
Only a dream that felt extremely real to the young man’s heart
As the young man recovers from the dream, a shot echoes
Piecing the air as the bullet flies to its final destination, the distant target
The bullet reaching its target, making it contact against the flesh, coursing to the heart
The young man’s eyes widen in terror; the dream, the nightmare…a reality
The only thing, the young man can do is cry and choke on his blood
Suffocating with each breath, the young man cries: Death a beginning, revenge an end.
Just as his dream foreshadowed his death, he lies against the cherry tree
The same tree of his dream, he admits his defeat and welcomes his death
With his arms wide open, he takes his death and allows his soul to die
He smiles a final time and he closes his eyes as his last breath is exhaled
The assassination a victory: the young man will never rise…again.

Description:
This just a poem that took me three days to write, and it's about a young man and a dream that becomes a reality. I would like to know if I need to revise it or what. All opinions welcome.
