    The time that snow begins to fall,
    Blanketing the world in white.
    You see children out in the yard,
    Making snow angles and snowmen,
    Having snowball fights,
    Catching snow on their tongues
    For the first time in their life.
    Ice covers the water
    Letting children skate upon the surface.
    Yes it is winter,
    With snow on the ground.
