Through rain and snow and sleet and hail, no force of nature shall break my spirit.
If it die, may my body go with it, for I intend never for my heart to fail.
My faith is set, with all to see, how far and wide my love will go.
Do not allow heartbreak to now be so, and have your eyes set on poor me.
Yes! You’ve noticed this humble face! Now, I seek for you to secure
My valentine’s wish, and be not unsure; I’ll be in catastrophe at another case.
Your words of tempest strength have found the ears of which you propose to love.
Your voice is that of the most beautiful dove as you compose your decision in such lovely sound.
A goddess you are, when your speech is then through. Your choice was indeed not wasted in vain;
Without you, my life would be absolutely insane, yet your rosy lips did so speak “I love you.”

- Title: And They Lived Happily…
- Artist: Kusari Mitsukai
- Description: This is a poem I wrote in my days of romance and love years ago. I had written it for a very dear friend of mine who needed some advice on how to appropriately show his love for someone. Hope this helps you, too.
