The sun has blacked into fear
The tension in the fantasy refuge is increasing.
I hear a high noise beckoning me to follow.
I walk into the shadows of the deep forest
Heart beating through my chest,
A sharp pain through my veins,
Fear is an understatement,
Yet curiosity eases the pain.
Has been long since my last bit of sanity was stolen,
As has been my last social interaction.
Living in the pit,
Life has been hard.
Creatures at all hours,
Night lives through.
The moon is bright,
My body is numb.
Maybe the cure will break through,
Maybe the days will be better.
The true reason for the virus
Was believing all along.
In the future,
Our dreams dead.
In the past,
We thrive.
