~*Crying*~

Do you cry when you're alone?
Feel the burn of shameful tears
Cry for love you didn't have
The time you wasted running

Do you wish things could change?
That you could reset and start over?
Go back in time and start again
And know how to fix things?

Does it hurt to remember the good times?
When you had everything going your way?
Do you feel better telling yourself life will go on?
How do you make the world stop turning long enough
To turn things around the way they should be?

Life just keeps passing you by while you cry alone
And you won't get better by feeling sorry
And the past won't change
No matter how much it should

Things change a lot in a short time
People grow closer and apart
It isn't possible to fix the things that happen
Or take the rivers of tears back after a storm

So living with your heart in the past
Really only makes the pain worse
And the only way to fix it is to move on
But the pain is still there.

The tears will keep coming
Until their rivers run dry
And you can't keep crying forever
But a dam only makes the pain worse later
So cry now, and heal your heart

That way life gets better
And love can come again
But until then cry
And heal yourself

beautiful, simply beautiful. i like it alot, u show alot of powerful emotions in this poem. i can personally relate to this poem, i find this poem and i think that if i keep this in mind, i'll move on a little quicker, thank you for submitting this poem.
