See here now, the moon descends.
See here now, the sun rises.
A new dawn, a new day, has arrived.
Birds begin to sing, their songs proclaiming
The goodness of the morn.
O, the sweet sound of their melodies!
The flowers open in silent grace,
Welcoming the Light, greeting the bees,
Attracting the animals that feed.
The dew, like a blanket, covors the grass;
It's thin layer nourishing the ground on
Which it lays and rests upon.
As the sun rises, the world also rises and wakes;
The birds, the plants, the creatues of the earth.
This is indeed a beautiful morning.
A morning welcoming the world.

Description:
A poem I wrote last year after the last English exam. I had 30 minutes to spare, so I wrote a poem. The teacher thought it was pretty good, so I kept it.
it might need some work, but it's alright the way it is, I think. - Date: 10/26/2008
