There's an unnerving silence in the night
As the wind flows freely,
Blowing the leaves of the trees.
A piercing chill pours over the midnight sky.
As the stars and the moon shine brightly
A dying life whispers to the darkness,
Giving a foreboding feel to the air.
This night promises no morning,
For the next day is never to come.
And suddenly the wind dies down,
The leaves fall from the trees,
The moon becomes hidden,
The stars fade into dust,
And the faintest hint of life that is left behind.
Falls into eternal death.

- you can tell people what you think to help them get better, but your comment wasn't exactly helpful. if you post nicer comments for other people, you will get rated higher. your poem was beautiful. whatever. i'll give you a 5/5.
