• Falling just like the rain
Full of stories; full of pain
Bumps and bruises on her heart
Oh when did all this start
    Should she have given in
Or maybe she should've done some thin
    Every hit; every punch
Even as her bones went crunch
She took it with out a quiver
Just a look made her shiver

    With a warm smiling face
Full of love and filled with grace
    She never told a soul
she loved him and paid the toll
He sits there in the dark
waiting till she gets home with the kids from the park

    She walks in the door
His eyes so red, his face so sore

    He hits her repeatedly
    She cries so quietly
This time he's gone too far
Too many drinks were drank at the bar

She closes her eyes as her head hits the door
And her body clashes with the floor
    No longer does she feel
No long will she ever need to heal
Broken bones and a bruised heart
No more crying; she's no longer torn apart
She sits safely upon a breeze
As loved ones pray for her on their knees
