    A poem is love
    yet it is lose
    A poem is a gift
    yet a burden
    A poem is my point

    A poem makes music,
    makes noise,
    makes life

    A poem holds your secrets
    the ones you don't want them to know
    A poem is your closest friend
    yet your worst enemy

    A point is a work of art
    and a crumpled up paper
    at the very bottom of your trash can

    Poems brings beauty,
    brings hate,
    brings the brutal truth

    A poem is one of its own
    yet craves something more
    its a metaphor
    a lie
    an animal

    A poem is free
    yet trapped in lack of words

    A poem is trying to capture meaning
    in a few short words and beats

    What I'm saying is
    a poem is not a rhyme
    nor a rhythm

    A poem can be anything
    in short
    a poem is a blank sheet of paper
    that you must fill with your story
