• Shivers and tingles down my spine,

Reminiscing the days when you were mine,

    The poems the flowers,

Phone lines we'd stay on for endless hours,

    Pet names and our song,

Those memories , oh if we'd only know how we were so wrong,

Daisy petals blowing in the wind, he loves me, he loves me not,

The truth these dainty flowers brought,

    Picturesque t'was our limerence,

Love from Attraction? We knew not the difference,

Then came the day I answered my text in excitement,

Little did I know, this was no blissful event,

Tears gushed like waterfalls , mascara bled,

And then our love was officially pronounced dead,

The days became long the wind became old,

Came and gone just like a common cold.
