Death
as you lay dieing
there is but one who goes with.
much you wish to take your loved,
you may not.
this crossing of bridges
is for you and one other.
you hear flaps,
you see wings,
you smell an elixer
of final rest.
a pale, naked body,
glowing with sadness, and heavy with the burden of dispair.
returneth you to the hand of your maker.
the brother of birth.
and the father of sorrow.
within this soft black satin is a shred of light.
be mournful not,
for you will have all your questions answered
all your past branches of your tree welcoming you.
all your deeds praised
the angel of eternal everlasting light and dark
has no favorites.
live you a pure life,
have no fear.
have you a wicked
dispair.
to be cast away from the final light of calling into the hellfire
judgement is required.
to be given a chance to be forgiven, you to must forgive.
renounce, repent, and fill your soul with everlasting, eternal, brilliant light,
or cast into everlasting fire,
ice,
chains,
hundreds of thousands of naked red tormenters and tormentees,
call out.
the second shall save you.
three brothers.
one chance
one final journey.
one final test.
and the final, beatuiful sleep.
birth,
death,
and darkness.

Gilda Radner:
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.

Epicurus:
Thus that which is the most awful of evils, death, is nothing to us, since when we exist there is no death, and when there is death we do not exist.

Norbert Capek:
It is worthwhile to live
and fight courageously
for sacred ideals.
O blow ye evil winds
into my body's fire
my soul you'll never unravel.
Even though disappointed a thousand times
or fallen in the fight
and everything would worthless seem,
I have lived amidst eternity --
Be grateful, my soul --
My life was worth living.
