"I found a four-leaf clover!"
And he didn't even care.
"Just an anomalous legume,
You find them everywhere"
But she had never found one,
on her sidewalks hard and bare.
She had never seen them
growing everywhere.
"Who could pick a clover-leaf
On hard and busy street?"
"Or pick a piece of timothy
Where intersections meet?"
On a walk along a country road,
By a field of green so fair.
She found a four-leaf clover,
And he did'nt even care.

Description:
My grandmother is 76 yrs old...and she writes poetry, mostly on her own experiences...So a long time ago she went to visit some family in the country. During the visit, she and her uncle went for a walk. She had found a four-leaf clover, (being a city girl, it was a surprize) but her uncle didn't seem to care much. After she got home, she wrote this.
