A creature runs rampant through the land.
It's fury of twisted winds and burning sand.
Born from mankind's Jealousy and Hate,
Anger and Sorrow... Emotions we can all relate.
With every shout, curse, and shed of a tear
Creates an even greater fear.
It grows stronger as time passes.
Thus the world is reduced to ashes.
Whether by human hands or not,
In the inferno, we are all caught.
Though many deny to hearing it's call,
The creature lives within us all.

- I liked it, no matter what the two below me say. Now, just so Broken Soul knows, poems DO NOT NEED TO FLOW--they're just expression of emotion. However, she's right about the rhyming seeming slightly forced, but not enough to overshadow the meaning of this poem, which towers above it. Nice symbolism and imagery, just so you know.

- I like the message of it, but the poem doesn't flow for me, and some of the rhyming seems a teensy bit forced. 3/5.
