Flitting from streetlamp to streetlamp
shoulders hunched, crunch, crunch, crunch
Winter is the time of the dead

The silence is surprisingly painful
I finger my cell phone yet again
It doesn't ring so much anymore
A strange dead weight in my pocket

Soldiers always do their duty
I'm sticking with my final answer
If I didn't do anything wrong
Why is December so very cold?

xD Sounds lonely. Again, reminds me of some big busy lonely city. The first words, snows kiss, made me think "Oh no, this is gunna be some cliche s**t," but then I was immediately surprised [pleasantly surprised] to find "oh hey... this is nice." xD
