Ignore the writing on the walls,
just mindless drabbles of those who cry for Beauty.
Ignore the sickening stench that fills your nose,
just the innocent blood of those who cry for justice and equality.
Ignore the screams of terror that swallows your ears,
just the wails of pain from those who did not fit into our mold.
Ignore your heart,
who's telling you to run.
Just turn a blind eye and you'll live a little longer...

this poem is inspiring...
jus as sao ann said
i may be misinterpreting it, but
its ironic,
i mean, ur reprimending the ppl who do ignore and those who do not stand up for wat they believe in,
by telling them to ignore.

I like this very much. For me, and of course, I could be misinterpreting it completely, it seems like you're condoning and condemning those who don't stand up for what they believe or those who dare to be individuals. And yet the last line seems to be both an excuse for those who don't dare, and a tribute to those who take a stand anyway. Definitely a favorite.
