Alone he stood on broken statues of stone,
No one else, he stood alone.
And looked upon that which he had wrought
The terror in his people's hearts
The legends all been ripped apart
His broken sword lay at his side
His thoughts strayed only at one place
to perish, or to live; or die?
And so he looked for one last time
Before he fell, lightly like a leaf, to earth,
And no one heard of him again,
Besides the voices of the dead.
