You tell me you love me,
I have my doubts.
So many guys told me that too,
It was always a lie.

How am I to put my trust into someone,
When everyone else just threw it away?
I want to trust,
But I don't want to be hurt.

You tell me you won't hurt me,
But I only think you will.
I know I am a fool,
To waste my feelings.

For maybe one day,
Someone won't lie to me.
And then together,
We'll shine..
