• Since writing introductions was never my strong suit I hope you do not mind if I just skip right to the point.
    This Essay is supposed to help me get into collage by giving you, the reader, a sneek peek at my personality.
    Based upon this essay and the rest of the application, I am hoping on getting a Higher Education than a High School Diploma.

    Now Essays about myself have never been easy, since I am good at writing praise about other people and things but can not seem to find anything interesting enough to write an essay about myself. Lets start off with Interests and work our way from there. I love the outdoors. It doesn't matter what weather, I'm usually outside. Colors are all around outside and I just adore how colors can easily catch my eye. Colors are the basics in everyday life. I can not see myself going one hour without drawing something or oogling at some really pretty colors that I just found. When I'm at home sitting in front of a blank canvas I am always awed by how the colors in the oils blend together and are so vibrant, and I'm always in wonder that I am the one controling the colors. Another random, but important, interest of mine is cooking. I see Flavors and Spices as I do Paints. I love blending and combining until I get it just right. Also I have been trying different types of foods from different nations. Lately I have been trying common recipes from Japan.

    So now that we're finally done with Interests lets move onto my Commitments and Talents since they are closely related. One of the things that I am very talented in is Snowboarding. I have been active in the sport for 11 years now and the winter of 2010 will be my 12th. I really enjoy snowboarding since it gives me much to do in the long winter months and it keeps me active while others are boarded up in their homes. Another Talent and steady commitment I have is to my Paintings and Art. With my spare cash that I have I usually
    buy canvas and other Paint supplies. Now I did not realize this talent right away, and it wasnt until in my Junior year at High School, that I realized that I had a knack for Art. This realization came along when I won first place for the Art Show that my High School puts up at the end of the year, and is an accumulative of everyones artwork throughout the year. That started my passion for painting and got me to try more art. Another commitment I have, that I dont really think is a talent, is towards my friends and family. I am highly sociable, and build bonds with others really quickly. With my friends I am willing to listen and towards both my friends and family I am highly protective of them and I love them all.

    Since I we've covered all of the relatively easy and on-the-surface stuff, its time to get into the in depth stuff about me. My Perspective and beliefs at sometimes can be very confusing and vague to everyone, but it makes sense to me. So in simplified terms I am very complex and vibrant. I have a firm belief of being direct with what you say and do. I just don't see the point in lying and taking the round-about way for the simpliest of tasks. I also believe that everyone should live every second. Not the way the saying "live every second like its your last" implies. I don't like thinking I might die every second of the day. I do like enjoying every second, since there is no point in dreading every second. Also I try to live by a saying my friend told me. "The question is not weither the situation is risky or not, the true question is weither you are willing to risk it." In short, my interpretation of this is that if you are always weighing out the risks for everything you might miss out on a really great opportunity.
