• I opened my eyes slowly, and everything looked blurry. I could make out two figures standing in front of me. One was holding a mirror, and the other had their hands crossed in front of their chest, looking bored.

"You finally decided to wake up?" a girl asked in a mean tone. I knew who that was.

"Aquilina, that's just mean. She's our guest." the other one - a boy - said with fake sweetness. I knew that voice too. "She has no idea her little Chosen will soon abandon her for his own life."

"How selfish of him, Forrest!" Aquilina exclaimed with fake concern. A snarl escaped from my lips. They laughed.

No, it couldn't be true. Darien wouldn't leave without me. Even if it was to save his own life. I knew he wouldn't leave me.

My sight came back, and I could see everything clearly. In front of me, I could see something like a screen, showing only black. Forrest and Aquilina were staring at the screen.

"Why don't you watch, princess? It will be very good. Watch your precious Chosen leave you." Forrest turned and offered coldly. I tried to lunge after him, but there were chains on my wrists keeping me away. I went back, trying to sit, but there was no chair, and I was not tall enough to hit the floor. I could only stand.

"Sakura!" someone yelled. It wasn't Aquilina, and it wasn't Forrest. I knew the voice. I looked up with hope in my eyes, but I didn't see him. He wasn't here. I saw a image reflected on the shiny floor. It was Darien.

I looked up on the screen, and he was running down a long corridor, looking around frantically. He kept calling my name.

"Sakura! Princess Sakura!" he called for me with fear on his voice. Fear for me? I wanted to shout to him. I wanted to tell him is was here. Wherever 'here' was.

He came to the end of the corridor, and stood in front of large, tall wood doors. There was a heart with 'x's crossing them on each door. He opened them quickly and ran it. He stopped because it was dark, and then lights suddenly flickered to life, and before him, was a girl.

She had a chain around her neck, and her hands, and it connected to the wall. She was wearing a black torn dress, and the sleeves fell off her shoudlers. She also wore a black headband with black ribbon falling off near her ears.

She looked familiar. But I knew who it was. She was me. It was like looking in a mirror. She looked just like me! The red upside down crescent moon in the center of her forehead glowed red for a fraction of a second, then went back to the blood red color. It glowed too fast for human eyes to see.

"Meet your clone, Sakura. Watch as your Chosen leaves you for her." Aquilina said with satisfaction.

"Sakura!" Darien yelled, running up to the clone me. She opened her eyes, and smiled. She didn't speak. He grabbed her hand, like he was seeing if she was real or not.

    She wasn't real.

"Stop! Stop she's not real! I'm right here! Stop!" I yelled at the screen. There was no answer. He couldn't hear me.

"It's no use, he can't hear you. He's going to leave you." Forrest said without turning around to look at me.

There was a key hanging on the farthest wall, and he ran to get it.

"Stop! It's a trick! That's not me! Stop!" I cried.

He took he clone into his arms, and they ran out of the castle, running down the tall spiral staircase. They ran out the doors.

"Mokona!" Darien yelled. Mokona popped out of the woods. Fai, Mira, and Dahila came out as well.

    "Ready to go? Fai asked.

"Yes," Darien answered. "Mokona?" He looked over.

"Stop! Stop! Don't leave!" I cried, tears running down my face.

"Mokona Mokona ready to go!" Mokona danced in the air. Then, wings appeared on Mokona's back, and then, the ground glowed, and then, they were gone.

I hung my head, tears quietly running down my face like a river. They left me. I was alone. How did I know I would meet them again?

"See? They left you. They left you for a fake. They couldn't see the difference. They replaced you." Aquilina said.

I couldn't speak. This couldn't happen to me.

"It's time you embraced what you will become, princess. Stay with us." Forrest ordered. What else would I do? Where could I go?

    "... Yes..." I said quietly.
