What is Life? A mass of thoughts and emotions, collaborating to simulate consciousness? Maybe, but who can really say? The value of human life derives from people's morals. It is our morals that tell us that it is wrong to murder, nothing more. Without these morals humans would completely disregard each other's lives and not care who died for what reason. However, everybody has different morals and beliefs. Say for instance, that I believe life is petty and unnecessary, while somebody else believes that human life should be held in the highest regards. Because our morals differ, our value of life differs. And because everyone in the world has different morals, there can be no universal value of life. The only possible way that we could acquire a consistent value of life is if we removed morals from the equation. We would then have one definite value of life. However, due to our lack of morals, that value would be nothing. Life would be worthless.

well i agree to the title there....life is worthless
but that's what i thought first way back...
even tho i hated every part of my life but i still have goals
those goal are the reason i'm still living

Thought provoking point. You never really answered your own question "what is life?", but perhaps that was part of the point of this piece? If voting hadn't ended I'd give this a 4 because of some minor grammar issues.
