    Dante is an undertaker, which in the series he is from, is equivalent to a shinigami (Japanese death god) <br />
    Undertakers work in pairs, one captures the soul of the evil spirit and one sends the soul to heaven. Dante is the latter. <br />
    Before his untimely death, Dante was the head of the Farnese family (in the Sicilian mafia, this is made up of course) <br />
    Now he's working with his contractor, Hiren, a former member of the Chinese mafia, their main mission being to help restore the soul of the next Catacomb King, also known as the Twilight Key (The next king, being the main character of the series, Hayato Sakura) <br />
