  • Artist Info: Hello; I am Gaara of the Desert. I am Kazekage of the Hidden Sand village, and a member of a ninja team along with my siblings, Temari and Kankuro. I manipulate sand that I store on the gourd on my back to defeat enemies. This same sand prevents me from harm by itself. I used to have the one tailed beast, Shukaku, inside of me, but it was extracted by the Akatsuki organization. This killed me, but using a special life sacrificing jutsu, Chiyo (an elderly lady and puppet master from the Sand Village) saved my life.
