- Description: Lets meet our contestants dress in their national costumes. The contestants started entering. Colombia, Mexico, and Panama were the most clapped, but then came Venezuela the favorite to win the crown. Dayana Mendoza was dressed as a native from the Amazon rainforest in Venezuela. She looked splendid with her spear and her heels (she used heels because it was a beauty pageant). At the end she won, with Colombia and Dominican Republic as first runner and second runner up respectively.
