- Strange growths; giving the bodies oversized limbs claws and spines. The mutations were not easily controlled; they were blood thirsty killing all life and spreading the infection onto others.

- Sgt. Bill Callahan of the Biological Containment Unit was the first on the scene with his team, however they were not trained for what was about to come; even the best of soldiers are sometimes not enough.
