Description:
The Egyptian Goddess, Bastet is the Goddess of protection and one of the daughters of Ra, the sun God. Though, in many ways she's normally pictured with the head of a lioness so that she could protect the pharaoh in battle. Also, the cat was a symbol of Bastet so the cat had became the honored symbol of her, meaning that a cat was good for protection, since it remembed the Egyptians that is was the symbol of her. Bastet as a temple built in her honor at Bubastis in the Delta.
