- Title: The Countess Von Essa
- Artist: Sweet Cherokee Rose
-
Description:
She wanders in her woodland garden, mourning for her love.
Still fancily dressed for the Gala to welcome him home.
The telegram's fateful words say he fought brave his
last day of war. Though her heart ached, she never lost her grace.
The proud Countess Von Essa
Please note: Her mouth may have a slight smile, but her eyes look sad. The public may not be in her garden, she must keep her composure, as they are waiting at the Gala, not knowing the tragedy yet.

- I like it, but I think that the background is just a little overdone. Perhaps just two, instead of four, different things? I like the lilly pad and the tree. I also love how you did the dress. Congrats!

A little more~
I went with regular eyes because I'm rather tired of seeing the crying items. The closed eyes in Compass of Seidh are being used quite often and I wasn't sure if people would say they were over used. The thing on her shoulder is supposed to be a fur. An option for women of wealth to wear it on one shoulder. They did so up to the 1950's. She is a Countess & looked at by the public to hide her feelings. Countess may not be in the public in her garden, she had to be prepared. - Report As Spam

Description con't~
Due to Gaia's description limit, I'm adding this here.
I designed the dress to be Victorian era. Lace was sometimes used in bodices of Victorian Gothic style ball gowns, with the dress material either at the shoulders as shown on the avatar, or shoulder-less/strapless where only showing the lace on the bodice above the bust and as sleeves. White, ivory (also called Antique White), or black were the colors most often used. - Report As Spam
