Maria is Rosa's 9 year old daughter. She is very honest and naïve, as shown by her tendency to easily believe lies and take jokes very seriously.
The hairstyle is as close as I could get to her original since the orange was too dark and these eyes are more round like shown. The golden butterflies and leaves symbolize Beato as she appears in cloud of golden butterflies trailed by a thin dust of gold. Maria is often seen with them since she is a student of Beatrice.
