Actually, in the Legend of Zelda manga, Sheik was given the gender of a male, but I think that it was just a psychological thing. Zelda's conscious went to "sleep", while Sheik's conscious was "awake." In any case, Sheik is very slender no matter what, so female avis are the best to use.
