Q: You're cosplaying a lamp?
A: No. I just wanted to show it's a legit color combination for a lamp.
Q: The top's off.
A: I know. But sticking something on it to cover it up is a fire hazard.
Q: Why is the shade blue?
A: I like it. There is a yellow-tan umbrella in Furugasa that's more evocative of the typical lampshade, but I found the red and brown parts distracting. This way, it doesn't clash with the base at least. - Date: 10/20/2010
