Description:
Kikyo was a shrine maiden during the Feudal era of Japan, a time known to harbor demons. She was protector of the Shikon Jewel and at one point was the main love interest of half-demon/half-human Inuyasha. Being deceived by a heinous demon Naraku she died and was resurrected by the demon ogress Urasue. She collects souls of the dead to maintain her undead form using her Soul Collectors and plots to destroy Naraku.

- Reasoning for the choice of background is that usually when she is collecting souls with her soul collectors, she's in the woods at night (not to mention a large portion of the world is forested).
