the European paintings of Christ have got it all wrong.
1. Jesus was Hebrew. this means he most likely had black hair.
2. he worked in a dessert environment which would dry his skin and darken his skin dramatically. making him look a lot older than he actually was.
3. According to first century paintings discovered in Israel we know that the hair style of that age was short and curly.
