- Description: In the anime Blood +, Hagi is Saya's first, and only living, chevalier. A chevalier being a servant to either Saya, or her twin sister Diva in their chiropteran breed. Hagi, as a twelve year old boy, is purchased by Joel to be a companion for Saya. He lives with her in Joel's mansion for many years. Him aging, and Saya remaining the same. When trying to pick a flower for Saya on a whim, he falls and nearly dies, but Saya turns him instead into her chevalier, bound to her side for eternity.

- I was drawing inspiration from the Hagi before his chevalierhood. That' why he does not have the bandaged hand. Back when he and Saya practiced the cello together, and when he eventually surpassed her in skill.
