• I look into her eyes
    All I see is sadness
    She tries to hide
    The depression inside.

No matter how hard she tries
    She still can't find
    The happieness in her eyes.

    Everyday it's the same
    She puts on a show
    Afraid to say
    How she lost all hope.

She writes a note on the wall
Saying how much she loves her family
But this is the only way out of her pain.

    She prepares the rope
And as she does, she makes a wish
    "I wish I had a friend.".

Just as she's about to hang herself the phone rings
She lets it ring waiting for the machine to get it
    Ring...
    Ring...
    Ring...
"Hey we aren'y home right now, so after the beep you know what to do."
    Beep
"Alisa, it's me Sarah. From English class, I heard your poem in class, and wanted to say how good it was. We should hang out sometime, my number's 863-5742."

    She thinks about the message
Soon she takes down the rope
    And cleansoff the wall.

She goes to the phone and dials Sarah
    Ring...
    Ring...
    "Please be there."
    Ring...
    Ri- "Hello?"
" Hey Sarah. It's me, Alisa.".

    And as they talked
    I looked once more
    Into her eyes.

    Underneath all the depression
    And under all the darkness
I see a shine of hope.

    I look into her eyes
    And I see a light
    That she got her wish
As I look into her eyes.
