• waiting and waiting for christmas day
    so irritating and exciting
    everyone buying gifts, barely having enough to pay
    and buying cards, and reading and writing
    things start to get crazy, and people lose their minds
    the children all get hyper
    the parents, proudly boasting of their finds
    it may be a pain
    but it is really worth the time
    you spend it all on your friends and families
    but, you never feel like you spent a dime
    then the holiday comes
    and things go to turmoil
    your house becomes a mess, and your hard cleaning is soiled
    you can get so mad, that it feels like your head was boiled!
    but then its time to relax, and take the cookies out
    you put them all to bed, they wont scream or shout
    because they know, that something's coming
    its bigger than you and me    its a miracle that comes, happy and humming
    and magically fills your christmas tree
    it might be the most peaceful thing, besides the screams and yells
    because when the time comes, and you are all dreaming
    the only sound made is silver sleigh bells
