Santa Claus, I have a wish
The kind of wish only you can grant
I don't want toys or books or games
There are others who would love those more
I don't need chocolate, or mint, or candy canes
Save the sweets for those not sheltered
No clothes, no shoes, nor jewelry
I am sure there are those more needy
But Santa Claus, what you can do for me
Bring a smile to my beloved one on this Christmas Eve

So I thought what could I possibly write, because my poems are usually dark, and depressing, and have no place in a Christmas contest. And then I thought about the one thing that I really, really wanted for Christmas, and then I wrote this.
