an island full of laughter, joy, and gladness
the ocean the color of sorrow and sadness
nothing can tell the feelings i love
for in morning i sip coffee and watch the dove
slowly peck the grass with its sharp beak
a blanket of snow has covered the cliff peak
apples grow in thick healthy a tree
i feel that i never want to leave
this paradise of beauty
but i must go for it is my duty
yes this is summer,spring,fall, winter
in an island i go every season
