This is the grave of Kelly Mitchell, real life gypsy queen married to the king Emil Mitchell. Kelly died in 1915 and was buried in Meridian, Mississippi where this photo was taken. Thousands of people came from all over the country to Mrs. Mitchell's funeral.
Offerings are still left on the graves of the gypsy royal family to this day in remembrance. As you can see some of the fruit and other items in this photo along with a framed photograph. - Date: 06/14/2009
