Mount St. Helen is located in Washington State, and is less than a 100 miles from where I live. It is an active volcano, that has been growing a lava dome for several years, and steaming. She blew her top in May of 1980. - Date: 10/07/2008

- Ah washington sweet home! I don't see st. helen from where I am in olympia area, mostly I get wonderful views of mt rainier when it is clear enough and the rain goes away for a minute hehe. wonderful pic!
