  • Description: There was a wicked lighting storm in my backyard. It kept hitting around the same place, so I grabbed my camera. If you're wondering how you can get a picture of lightning, too, I'll be more than happy to share.

I used a Fuji S5100 camera - shutter speed 10 seconds, FStop of 2.8. If a picture has been digitally altered, it'd be phographically-assisted digital art, not photography. =P

--To those saying I didn't take this, please talk to me directly. This is my photo. I am a photographer.--

  • isn't it funny when a really good picture comes around, people automatically thing that it was ripped off from someone else? XD amazing shot, I really like it.

  • Having the aperture open all the way just lets in all the light. If it was a smaller aperture, the foreground stuff and everything else around it might not be as exposed. Usually when you do night stuff or things with little light, ya just might as well have it open all the way. =) But it's all open to personal taste and experimenting. B)

  • Very cool! I love how the lightning is so bright. The flowers just peeking through provide a nice color to the main focus. Thank you for posting your SS and F-stop! XD hehe. But, if you used a 10 second shutter speed, wouldn't there be no use for an aperture? ;P
