I really lucked out with this shot...I was set up for the sunset after RACING to the beach from across town. Then, this big flock of seagulls took off just as I started shooting! I love the sun peeking through the clouds and the outline of Chicago you can just barely see across the water.

(refering 2 Andyx-'s coment)Maybe it's the town, some polution can couse the sky to look lyk that earlier, pluss you can put an orange filter over the lense to make it look that way but I don't know if she did that.

- awesome pic. though it looks like the sun is still pretty high in the sky. how does the sky get so orange when it only looks about 3pm?
