- Description: Praefectus Evocatorum. Member of the Evocati, (Re-Enlisted Veteran) and Prefect, Senior Ranking officer (usually promoted from being most Senior Centurion) Roman Prefects in the Evocati, usual led the Evocati themselves. Above this rank is Legate - (basically a brigadier general). During the Imperial days however many of the ranks shifted and took in different responsibilities, this however is a Prefect during the latter years of the Republic.
