Ok so before you all ask me "Why don't they have faces" the answer is simple. This is a metaphoric piece it is not of any specific person or characters and is supposed to relay motion and a sort of lack of emotion. That is why there are no faces. I want the viewer to relate it to whatever emotion the body movements show to them. It is a study on body language.
Done in Acrylic paint.. This was done about two years ago before I took a figure drawing class. - Date: 03/24/2010

- Yeah I was painting from a photo and you really can't see his leg. I went back and forth on if I should put a leg in or not.

- this is wonderful and i personally, duh, luv that they're faceless. you totally nailed the emotive bit. my only qualm is his missing torso. i know it's supposed to be behind her, but i think there should at least be a supporting leg, his right leg, stepping out from behind to pull them together. yeah. but 5/5 anyway! also the background is FABULOUS!! great effect.
