well the background turned out a failure..*sigh*

Yes, the pose DOES look weird. Her right shoulder is pulled up towards her neck, which is unnatural. Her left arm is perfectly straight, which is also unnatural. On top of that, her legs don't look like she's walking. Rather, they look like she's about to fall over.
Your anatomy is also terrible. Do some life drawing.
