Description:
It's a chalk drawing I did summer 2008 on a chalkboard-covered cabinet door in my sister's kitchen.... Took about 20 minutes or so. I decided to take a pic before I had to erase it.
I call it "Austin Summer" because it was really hot last summer, averaging 100 deg F much of the time.... All the grass was dying, and the flowers were droopy. (c) 2008 Arran Walker. - Date: 02/05/2009

- Yep, it was a green chalkboard. It was up kind of high, so I stood on a wooden step stool and drew it. The horrible noise gave me a headache. I used so much chalk that my sister said I needed to buy her a replacement box of chalk. I have not replaced it yet, but she doesn't seem to care. She moved out of that apt (she had to repaint the cabinets white again) and doesn't have a chalkboard-painted cabinet anymore.
