I did this all with one base color for the body, one for the hooves and 2 for the mane and tale.. the rest.. dodge and burn. I kid you not
yes I used photo reference (thank god) I would have been so lost!

I really love how realistic it came out, I surprised my self.

- Wow this is really amazing, when I saw it, my first impression was that it whas a photograph but then I was shocked at how accurate it is for a painting! Well done, what is it though, an Arab?
